Quality Assurance Engineer

FinancialLease.nl is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for its Digital Innovation team, to help improve the quality of our software!

FinancialLease.nl is an intermediary in automotive and financial services that is driven by IT. The Digital Innovation team has the main objective to make the experiences for our users (internal and external) as smooth as possible with the solutions that we offer. We do so by building software that bests suits the solution, rather than sticking to specific technology or stacks. Our stacks include React-Native/Typescript, PHP/Symfony, eMagiz, AWS and amplify.

The job

As a QA engineer, you will help create a better CI/CD flow with automated tests and processes. You will improve the test suites we already have and introduce new and better ones. You will be setting up the test framework and train the teams and PO to verify releases like a boss. With your help, we can become an even better performing engineering department: speeding up our time-to-production, improving efficiency and building amazing things together!

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a test strategy
• Ensure stable and frequent releases
• Improve the quality of our software by automating test suites
• Driving the testing culture among fellow engineers
• Build a test database
• Support our PO with regression tests (suits)
• Coordinate Regression and User Acceptance testing
• Organize and perform UAT

Who are you

• 4+ years of experience in automated and manual testing
• You have experience building fully featured automated test suites using industry standard tooling
• You know your way around command line tools and git 
• You understand test scripting at all levels (unit, component, integration, E2E)
• You have experience implementing testing pipelines in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Gitlab-CI, or Circle CI
• You are eager to learn from others, and able to keep up with rapid changes in the tech world to grow professionally
